Japan is another world for Westerners. Social education and security are undoubtedly its greatest asset. You can forget a camera or computer in any bar and leave and when you come back an hour later it will be there, if the waiter hasn't come after you telling you that you forgot it.
The most curious thing is the bathrooms. Spotless, they offer a whole catalogue of personal hygiene products, even better than in the hotel.
From toothpicks to clean your mouth, make-up remover, body cream, lip serum, medicines, plasters, condoms, sanitary pads, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, towels... But the best of all are the magic toilets. You can choose the temperature of the water to wash you and even the direction of the water, not to mention the anal dryer.
Why has no one imported this to the rest of the world? In this series of photos from a bird's eye view I try to show a different perspective to the one the human eye is used to. From olive fields in my place of origin to strange places. Not to mention the unidentified flying objects I have encountered over the years.
The food is wonderful, people prefer to eat out rather than at home, due to the cheap prices.
The orderly queues when taking public transport. The bars where the cigarette smoke makes it impossible to see 2 metres away. The fastest bullet train in the world. The love of nature. The cherry blossoms.
Tokyo is the capital. A megalopolis with a population of about 37 million inhabitants, it is subdivided into 23 districts, making it the largest urban agglomeration in the world.
In this series of photographs I try to capture the beauty and above all the contrast with the Western European world.
